Wild 3 Days Without Whats Her Name

Well its Wednesday February 14th-Valentines Day-and wheres Brenda? Up at the sunny Hockley Valley Resort for a Garbage Symposium where the 'whos who' of garbage will be. Wheres Paul? He's at home (too much snow to go anwhere and the dumb car is dead for the moment anyways) inside recooperating from shoveling 50 cm's of snow (love those north east winds off the lake) from the driveway. "Ahhhh muffin....." Brenda would say if she were here.....but alas, she is no where to be seen. She cant even call me as her cell has no signal there.

But I am choosing to look at the bright side of things. I think I'll order pizza (to hell with Weight Watchers today), drink beer and play on the computer. Maybe if I feel guilty I'll do a load of laundry or 2. Brad has decided to brave the snowy conditions to go to a friends house as school is cancelled. Warren is supposed to come up and help me install a light in the dining room but if they dont plow our street, he'll have to bring snow shoes. I hope the pizza delivery guy has a 4 wheel drive......

Mmmmmm Pizza!! We're having a pizza lunch at work to celebrate Valentine Day. The pizza guy won't need 4WD to deliver to us, although hip waders may come in handy!

That's a heapin' helpin' of snow you got there! Good luck with the road clearing.

Paul - get Rico the pool boy to come shovel the snow.

Oh Ted...didnt you hear? Rico the pool boy mysteriously disappeared last night in the snow storm. I havent actually told Brenda yet but I'm sure she will get over it.

You don't understand the pool boy thing at all, do you? Brenda will NEVER get over it.

Okay, it was not a Garbage Symposium", it was a conference held by the Association of Municipal Recycling Coordinators (AMRC) and it was very educational. I'm a little more concerned about Green House Gas emissions and Climate change, but we're doing great with our blue box and organics programs.
More importantly...WHERE IS RICO???

Umm... after seeing your pics, and after hearing mom discuss the 'dump' on Burlington ... I'm seriously reconsidering this whole move thing ... so that was 50 for Hamilton, something MORE than that for Burlington, and maybe 10 for Pickering. What are the chances that the humidex is higher in Burlington too? Who suggested this ridiculous move in the first place??? ~Jill
